Bechon Sauzeau (1924-2006) was a French painter trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, developing an artistic style marked by harmonious, understated colors. He painted scenes of everyday life—including landscapes, fishing villages, portraits, and still lifes—and also notable large-scale works, including frescoes for Chapell St. Pierre in Villefranche-sur-Mer under the direction of Jean Cocteau.
